Welcome to the Felder 5 Page!

Hello from the Weedons!

This is Littleover Baptist Church. It was organized in 1812. The building was completed in 1888. It seats about 70 people.

Welcome to Littleover Baptist Church

The schedule is posted. Sunday morning services are at 10:30 with tea/coffee served in the church hall afterward. No adult Sunday school. Children go to Sunday school after the offering. Night services are held twice a month. We have had three funerals and a wedding.

Manse away from home

Built in 1990, the manse is a lovely four bedroom, two and a half bath home on a corner lot in a nice neighborhood. We have lovely neighbors.

Clipping the Grass

The grass may be greener on the other side of the "big pond," but it still has to be mowed. Ernest tries out the electric lawnmower that looks more like a Bissel floor sweeper. But, hey, it gets the job done!

On the road

The car is a four door automatic Peugeot. Ernest does a great job of driving on the left while Ann navigates. Petrol (gas) is very expensive. It costs about $50 US dollars to fill the tank.

Chief Cook and Bottle Wahser

Ann with her first banana pudding in England. They had never tasted it before but they licked the bowl clean! She enjoys the view of the garden while working in the kitchen.

Just the women

No matter where I serve my guest, they always like my kitchen best!

Wonderful people

Our neighbor, Mary, really enjoyed the open house at the manse. Mary is 94 years old, lives alone, and walks to the village several times a week to shop. The village is about half a mile away and it is UP HILL all the way! She amazes us.

Senior Luncheon

The church has a Luncheon club for seniors that meets every other week. About 40 senior adults attend.

Ernest in his Study Chair

Ernest has his study at the manse and it works out well. Ann does the secretarial work. We like this arrangement.

Flowers in the Church

These flowers were given by Ann in honor of Ernest's 70th birthday. Each Sunday a different family provides fresh flowers; after the service they are divided into small boquets and taken to shut-ins.
